Terms of Service

Clooney (a working codename — the product may be renamed) is operated by Cosmo Suite LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, registered at 525 Randall Ave #245, Cheyenne, WY 82001, USA. It lets you clone your voice from a short audio sample and generate speech in that voice. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Clooney.

You may only clone your own voice, or a voice for which you have written permission from the person it belongs to. When you create a clone, you confirm this — that confirmation is a condition of using the service, not a formality.

Cloning someone's voice without their permission is a serious violation of these terms, and depending on where you live it may also be illegal. If we discover a voice was cloned without consent, we will delete it and may terminate the account.

If you believe your voice has been cloned on Clooney without your permission, email us at admin@cosmosuite.io and we will investigate promptly.

You must not use Clooney to:

• Impersonate anyone — presenting generated audio as the genuine speech of a real person without their consent.
• Commit fraud — scams, phishing, fake voicemails, deceptive robocalls, or tricking anyone into believing a real person said something they did not.
• Harass, threaten, or defame any person or group.
• Deceive — including generating audio intended to mislead the public, interfere with elections, or fabricate evidence.
• Create or distribute illegal content, or content that violates the rights of others.
• Circumvent rate limits, credit limits, or access controls, or resell the service.

We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe break these rules — see section 11.

We also screen the text you submit for speech before generating it, and refuse text that depicts sexual content involving minors, sexual content, threatening hate or harassment, graphic violence, or instructions for crime or self-harm.

You need an account to clone a voice and generate audio. Sign-in is via Google or an email code. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep access to your email and Google account secure. You must be at least 13 years old (and old enough to consent to these terms where you live).

New subscriptions start with a 7-day free trial. We collect a payment card when you start the trial, but you are not charged during the trial. The trial includes 1 cloned voice and 5,000 characters of text-to-speech to try before you commit.

• On day 8, unless you cancel first, the trial automatically convertsto the paid plan you chose, and your card is charged that plan's monthly price;
• you can cancel any time before day 8 from the billing portal (section 6) and you will not be charged anything;
• trial characters have no monetary value and cannot be redeemed, transferred, or exchanged for cash;
• trial terms may change — we can adjust the length or allowance as the product evolves.

The trial is separate from anything you subscribe to or buy. Plans and top-up credit packs are covered in section 6.

A credit is one character of generated speech.Clooney sells credits two ways: a monthly subscription plan and one-time top-up packs.

Subscription plans

Each plan is a recurring monthly subscription that grants a fixed number of characters every billing period:

• Starter — 50,000 characters per month, $9 USD/month.
• Creator — 200,000 characters per month, $27 USD/month.
• Studio — 800,000 characters per month, $97 USD/month.

Subscriptions auto-renew every month at the price of your current plan until you cancel. Your plan characters reset each billing period — unused characters do not roll over to the next month.

You can cancel anytimefrom the billing portal, reachable from the studio. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access to your current plan's characters until the end of the billing period you already paid for, and no further charges occur after that.

You can also change plans at any time from the billing portal; a plan change takes effect as described there.

Top-up credit packs

Top-up packs are purchased separately from the studio, on top of a subscription, for characters beyond your plan's monthly allowance:

• Small — 30,000 characters, $9 USD.
• Medium — 120,000 characters, $29 USD.
• Large — 500,000 characters, $99 USD.

Packs are one-time purchases, not subscriptions: there is no recurring charge and nothing to cancel. Purchased top-up credits never expire — they stay on your account, are spent only after your plan characters for the period are used up, and survive a plan cancellation or a monthly reset.

Credits are a prepaid balance for using Clooney, not money. They have no cash value, cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash except as described in section 7, and are not transferable between accounts.

Charges and credits normally land in your account within seconds of payment — we bill and grant characters when our payment processor confirms the charge, not when your browser returns from checkout. If a charge or purchase ever does not appear, email admin@cosmosuite.io.

Prices may change. A price change applies only to future billing periods and future purchases — a subscription already renewed or a pack you already bought is unaffected, at the price and character count you paid for.

This section covers top-up credit packs. Unused top-up credits are refundable within 14 days of purchase. Credits you have already used to generate speech are non-refundable, because the underlying generation cost has already been incurred.

Refunds are issued to your original payment method via Stripe. A partial refund reverses a proportional share of the credits from that purchase — refunding half a pack removes half of that pack's characters from your balance. If those credits had already been spent, your balance may go negative, and you will need to top it up before generating again.

Subscription charges are not refunded for a partial billing period. To stop future charges, cancel from the billing portal (section 6) before your next renewal date — you keep the characters from the period you already paid for either way.

To request a refund, email admin@cosmosuite.io with the account address you purchased from. We read every request.

Payments are processed by Stripe through Stripe-hosted checkout. Clooney never receives or stores your card number — card details go directly to Stripeand never touch our servers. We keep only a record of the purchase or subscription (which plan or pack, how many characters, the amount, the currency, its status, and the date) and the processor's reference so we can link your receipts.

Your purchase is also subject to Stripe's own terms and privacy policy for the payment itself. Prices are shown and charged in USD. Your bank may apply its own conversion or fees.

Fraudulent payments and chargebacks may result in credits being removed and your account being suspended or terminated. If you think a charge is wrong, please email us before opening a chargeback — it is almost always faster.

Your voice samples, your cloned voice, and the audio you generate belong to you. We store them privately so the service can work — we do not publish them, train public models on them, or share them except with the processors listed in section 10.

You can delete any voice from the studio at any time, which removes it from our storage and from our voice provider. You can also delete your entire account, which removes your voices, generated audio, and personal data. Anonymous samples recorded before signup are deleted automatically after 24 hours if unclaimed.

Clooney is built on a few trusted providers, which process data on our behalf:

• Cartesia — the voice AI engine that performs voice cloning and speech generation.
• Vercel — hosting, and private storage of audio files.
• Resend — sends sign-in code emails.
• Stripe — processes subscription billing and top-up credit pack payments.

Their handling of data is described further in our Privacy Policy.

You can stop using Clooney and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms — especially the voice-consent and prohibited-uses rules — or if we are required to by law. Where reasonable, we will tell you why.

Clooney is an early-stage product. We work hard to keep it running, but it is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that clones will sound a particular way.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cosmo Suite LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of Clooney. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

We may update these terms as the product changes. If a change is material, we will make it noticeable — for example by email or an in-product notice. Continuing to use Clooney after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and you and we each consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

Before any of that, please email us at admin@cosmosuite.io. We would much rather sort things out like reasonable people, and almost everything can be.

If you believe a voice or a generated clip on Clooney impersonates you, infringes your rights, or breaks section 3, tell us at clooney.studio/report or email abuse@clooney.studio. You do not need an account. We acknowledge every report within 72 hours.

Where a report is upheld we remove the material, and we may suspend or terminate the account behind it under section 11.

Copyright claims

For a claim under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, your notice must include: identification of the copyrighted work; identification of the material you say infringes it, with enough detail for us to find it; your name, address, telephone number and email; a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent, or the law; and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for them. The report form collects all of this.

Counter-notice

If we remove something of yours because of a notice, we will tell you, and you may send a counter-notice identifying the material and stating, under penalty of perjury, that you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification. We may restore it after 10 business days unless the original claimant tells us they have filed a court action.

Repeat infringers

We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe the rights of others. Two upheld claims against one account will normally end it, and a single serious enough claim may.
